An event-decoration shop keeps ribbon rolls at two Shopify locations. It uses those rolls to make a custom decoration set and must choose whether stock at both warehouses can support the same sales promise. The raw material's Location rule changes the amount Soply uses in its calculation.

Compare the two location rules
The linked Shopify ribbon-roll variant has 8 rolls at warehouse A and 5 rolls at warehouse B. Each decoration set consumes 2 rolls.

The larger result is appropriate only if the selected warehouse stock can actually be brought together or allocated to fulfill the shop's orders. The lower result is a conservative rule for a different operating model; it is not a physical transfer or a guarantee that every order can ship from either warehouse.
Configure and check the source
- In Raw Materials, create or open the ribbon material with Shopify product stock as its source. Link the variant that represents a roll and use roll as the base unit.
- Select warehouses A and B as participating Shopify locations. Choose the rule that matches how staff source ribbon for an order.
- Bind the decoration-set sales variant under Product Usage and set Consumption Per Unit to 2 rolls.
- Compare Available from Shopify with the two Shopify location quantities, then inspect the product's calculated availability. Verify the result again after a real stock movement or source-variant sale.
Use priority order currently behaves like Sum all locations according to the app's UI; it does not yet implement an ordered warehouse deduction. Do not use its name as evidence that warehouse A will be consumed before B. If the decoration set is instead a bundle of existing Shopify products, the bundle's location-by-location complete-kit calculation is a different rule.
