In a product access rule, email lists match only guests who are not logged in, using the email entered at checkout. Country conditions apply to both guests and logged-in buyers. Checkout uses the shipping address country; a cart page can only show an IP-based country hint. Test the final result at checkout.
Set a guest email audience
- Create or edit a Product access rule. Choose Blacklist or Whitelist and define the target products or collections.
- Expand EMAIL AUDIENCE (GUEST CHECKOUT) and add addresses individually under Include emails or Exclude emails.
- An included email on a blacklist blocks that guest, while an excluded email can exempt the guest. On a whitelist, an included email permits the guest and an excluded email denies them. Save and review the Rule effect preview.
Set the shipping-country condition
- Expand COUNTRY AUDIENCE (GEOGRAPHIC).
- Use Allowed countries to specify countries and Blocked countries to exclude countries. With both lists, the country condition requires a shipping address inside the allowed list and outside the blocked list. For “only these countries may buy,” use a whitelist scoped to specific products or collections and test addresses both inside and outside the list.
- Save the rule and country-specific messages in Translation, then enable Enable checkout validation.
Example: One guest email and one shipping country
Create a whitelist for Product A, add vip@example.com to Include emails, and select the United States under Allowed countries. A guest using that email and a US shipping address can buy one unit of A. The same email with a Canadian shipping address is blocked, as is a different guest email with a US address. A logged-in buyer does not enter the guest email audience merely because the account email matches; configure customer tags to allow logged-in buyers.
For a per-buyer quantity cap, see product limits, and check checkout validation.
Use a test product or cart to check the outcome before applying this setup across your store.
