The app attempts to tag orders identified as frequency violations. Email alerts must be enabled separately, after the recipient address is verified. These settings help your team find and manually handle duplicate paid orders.
Configure the tag and email address
- Open Settings / Preferences → Frequency violations in the app.
- Enter a recognizable Order tag using only letters, numbers, and hyphens, then save the setting.
- Enter a Notification email, click Send code, enter the six-digit code from the inbox, and click Verify email.
- Check that the address shows Verified, turn on Enable email notifications, and click the section's Save button.
- Open View frequency violations periodically to check each record's Tag / Email status. After changing the address or notification settings, confirm verification and the saved toggle again.
Example configuration check
Set the tag to review-repeat-order and use an operations inbox. Confirm in Preferences that the address is verified and alerts are saved. When a paid frequency violation is later recorded, check its Shopify order for the tag and inspect whether the list shows sent, failed, or skipped for email. You do not need to make two real paid purchases solely to test email; verify the configuration first and inspect the first normal operational event.
When an event appears, review the violation manually. For checkout protection, check Checkout Validation.
Use a test product or cart to check the outcome before applying this setup across your store.
