Enter Start time under Time conditions to begin applying a rule at a chosen time. Turn on Set end time and enter End time to stop applying it after that time.
Set the time window
- Open the limit rule and go to General.
- Expand Time conditions and enter Start time. Leave it blank if the rule does not need a delayed start.
- To set an end, check Set end time and enter End time.
- Check the shop timezone and entered dates. The end time must be later than the start time.
- Make the rule Active and save. Use the verification guide before, during, and after the window.
Example: A weekend promotion
Limit a promotional product to two per order from Saturday 00:00 through Sunday 23:59. During the window, a cart with three should trigger the rule. Outside the window, that cart should not be restricted by this rule.
With Set end time enabled, an end time is required and must follow the start time. The schedule only controls when the rule can apply. A Draft rule does not activate itself at the start time. Checkout blocking also needs checkout validation.
