App status on Soply's Home page reports two separate features: an optional storefront cart quantity control and checkout inventory validation. Both use availability information, but they have different activation points and statuses.
Read the two status cards
Open Home → App status and choose Refresh app status. Storefront cart quantity controls describes whether the optional app embed is enabled in your published theme. Checkout inventory validation reports whether the checkout rule is active.
The cart control can adjust quantities before the buyer reaches checkout. If you want that behavior, use Manage in theme editor to review the published theme. An unsupported or disabled cart embed does not determine the checkout rule's status; check checkout validation separately.
Check the checkout rule
Open Inventory rules → Cart & checkout validation. If the status is Inactive, first confirm that the material or bundle rule is configured and that your plan supports checkout changes. Then choose Enable. This action applies immediately; use Refresh to confirm the status becomes Active. If the status is Unknown, read the message and refresh rather than assuming the rule is active.
Verify the buyer experience
Choose a test variant covered by an active rule and note its calculated availability. Attempt a purchase within that quantity and one above it. Observe the cart and checkout separately. If the cart does not adjust but checkout blocks the excessive quantity, review the theme embed. If checkout also allows it, inspect validation status, the selected inventory mode, and the variant's material or bundle relationship.
