Reserved orders shows which orders temporarily hold sellable stock and whether that hold has become a final deduction. It is especially useful for cash on delivery (COD) and unpaid orders.

Inspect an order

  1. Open Reserved orders from the app navigation.
  2. Review Total reserved, Awaiting deduction, and Deducted in the overview.
  3. Filter by order ID, date range, or consumption status, then open the relevant order to inspect its items, quantities, and status.
  4. Compare the record with the Shopify order's payment, cancellation, and fulfillment status.

A reservation reduces what other customers can currently buy, but it is different from final consumption. The When orders affect inventory rule in Inventory rules determines when pending, paid, and fulfilled orders reserve or deduct stock. See When orders affect inventory for the options.

You may see a reservation release followed by final consumption for the same order. This can be a normal transition; check the final available quantity before treating it as a double deduction. If a cancelled order still appears to hold stock, check its Shopify status, the selected rule, and related material or bundle snapshots before contacting Support.
